Writers' Festivals

Clare is a regular guest at Writers’ Festivals and a popular host for panels and ‘in conversations’ at book stores, schools and festivals. In 2016, Clare was sponsored by DFAT to participate in the Beijing ‘Bookworm’ International Writers Festival. As a moderator, Clare has interviewed authors including Julia Gillard, Simon Winchester, Eleanor Catton, Kate Grenville, Magda Szubanki, Christos Tsiolkas, Steven Carroll, Emily Bitto, Gideon Haigh, Paul Ham, Frank Bongiorno, Anna Clark and Sally Warhaft.
